SUMMER HOUSE QUILTS
STITCHER, QUILTMAKER, TEACHER
I am a visually challenged, traditional quilter. I have been sewing most of my life. At the age of 17 I trained as a traditional embroiderer at the Royal School of Needlework before becoming a military embroiderer for a while. For the past 30 years I have been a civil servant and currently work in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports - feels a bit like coming home!
I love strong colour, have a passion for Hawaiian Quilts, hand stitching, tradition with a twist and sharing my love of all things stitching with others.

I make and sell a huge range of quilts. From 1st - 4th August I can be found at a meet the makers event at RHS Harlow Carr. Come and say hello if you are in the area.
I also now have stock at the Ministry of Craft in Conisbrough. Come along and have a look at this recently revamped wonderful shop in my local village.
